'Enemy Of Allah': Iran-Linked Group Crowdfunds $40 Million for Assassination of Trump — Report

A crowdfunding effort, linked to a former employee of Iran’s state media, has raised $40 million as a bounty for the assassination of US President Donald Trump, The New York Post reported Saturday, July 20.

The group “Blood Covenant” reportedly launched the campaign after multiple Iranian clerics issued fatwas calling Trump an "enemy of Allah." The group vowed to award the bounty to anyone who brings those threatening the Deputy of Imam Mahdi to "justice." According to MEMRI, the campaign has full ideological backing from the Iranian regime.

"This is a call to jihad, inviting believers to donate their money and sacrifice their lives," said MEMRI. Iranian clerics reportedly offered spiritual and material rewards to anyone participating in the effort, including a cleric from Iran's West Azarbaijan Province who pledged 100 billion tomans (approximately $1.14 million) to whoever kills Trump.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian denied direct state involvement in the fatwas or campaign, but dissident media and MEMRI have linked the efforts to regime-backed actors. Posters circulated online emphasized both spiritual and financial rewards, calling for the "punishment" of Trump and praising the attack on his life in 2024.

The U.S. Justice Department previously reported that an IRGC official offered an American citizen surveilling Trump $500,000. Another Pakistani national allegedly tied to Iran was also indicted in a plot targeting Trump and others in the U.S. (JPost/VFI News)

IDF Strikes Hamas Commander's Beit Hanun Hideout

The IDF and Shin Bet struck the hideout of Hamas's Beit Hanun Battalion commander, Hussein Fiad, also known as Abu Hamza, on Sunday, July 20. They are awaiting confirmation of his death.

Fiad had been declared dead in a May 2024 strike, but later reappeared in January 2025. In recent weeks, the IDF launched expanded operations in northern Gaza, encircling Beit Hanun and targeting key Hamas infrastructure.

Beit Hanun, a terror hotspot near Sderot, poses significant threats to Israel's border communities. The 99th Division has been working to remove the threat, destroying tunnels and strongholds. Most of the city has sustained severe war damage.

Hamas has used Beit Hanun to launch rockets and conduct operations near the Israeli border. The latest IDF offensive aims to eliminate terrorist capabilities in the area. (JPost/VFI News)

IAF Strikes Houthi Targets in Yemen's Hodeidah in Retaliation for Missile Attacks

The Israel Air Force on Monday, July 21, struck Iran-backed Houthi targets at the port of Hodeidah, Yemen, following a series of recent ballistic missile launches against Israel. Defense Minister Israel Katz stated that the same rules apply to Yemen as to Tehran.

The port has been a conduit for Iranian weapons transfers and Houthi terror activities. Despite past IDF bombings, the Houthis have rebuilt much of their infrastructure. Monday’s airstrikes hit engineering vehicles, fuel containers, naval vessels, and other terror-related equipment.

Midday, a drone was intercepted by the IDF; it had likely been launched from Yemen. The IDF said the Houthis exploit civilian infrastructure at Hodeidah for military purposes and continue attacks against global maritime trade.

Although their attacks rarely result in Israeli casualties, the Houthis have maintained consistent strikes since October 2023. Their only successful lethal drone attack was in July 2024, killing one Israeli in Tel Aviv. (JPost/VFI News)

“Lord, we pray for the protection of Israel from missile and drone attacks from Yemen, Iran and the surrounding enemy countries. May You thwart the plans of those who seek to cause harm and bring peace to the region.”

Knesset Hosts Conference Calling for Sovereignty over Judea and Samaria

Five Likud MKs hosted a Knesset conference on Monday, July 21, titled “Sovereignty Now,” promoting Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria. The Sovereignty Movement NGO organized the event, emphasizing Jewish settlement and national claims.

Energy Minister Eli Cohen declared his support for settling a million Jews in the region, dismissing peace with Saudi Arabia if it meant conceding to a Palestinian state. Diaspora Minister Amichai Chikli praised the establishment of unrecognized farms and settlements.

Former US Ambassador David Friedman proposed a "Puerto Rico model" where Palestinians would have local governance without national voting rights. Justice Minister Yariv Levin, Speaker Amir Ohana, and others also attended.

Maj.-Gen. (res.) Gershon Hacohen stressed that military and civilian presence in high points across Judea and Samaria are crucial for Israel’s security. He also said settlement expansion would help ease coastal congestion.

Under current law, these areas are considered under temporary belligerent occupation by the IDF. However, legislation passed recently has escalated Israel's formal integration of certain sectors. (JPost/VFI News)

“Father, we pray for wisdom, peace, and justice as Israel navigates the complexities of Judea and Samaria. May decisions be made in alignment with Your will and for the peace of all Israel.”

Huckabee Warns Israel Over Christian Group Visa Restrictions

In a strongly worded letter to Israeli Interior Minister Moshe Arbel, US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee criticized the refusal to grant collective entry visas to numerous Christian organizations. Huckabee warned of possible reciprocal visa restrictions for Israelis seeking entry to the US.

Huckabee asserted that Israel was engaging in harassment of evangelical groups and urged immediate corrective action. The letter was also sent to Israeli leaders, including Prime Minister Netanyahu and President Herzog.

He stated, "We will have no choice but to inform American Christians that their generous contributions are being met with hostility and advise them to reconsider their travel plans."

Interior Minister Arbel expressed surprise at the tone of Huckabee's letter, defending the ministry's actions and promising further review. He emphasized his office's ongoing cooperation with the ambassador's staff.

The situation underscores the growing tensions between some Israeli authorities and longstanding Christian supporters of Israel. (JPost/VFI News)

Hamas Demands Release of Marwan Barghouti in Emerging Hostage Deal

As ceasefire negotiations continue in Qatar, Hamas is reportedly demanding the release of Fatah leader Marwan Barghouti, who is serving five life sentences for terrorist activities. Israeli officials maintain his name has not yet been formally presented in the talks.

Barghouti is considered a unifying figure among Palestinians, and sources suggest Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar personally promised his wife to secure his release. Officials believe Barghouti could lead the PLO from exile and draw parallels to Yasser Arafat.

The current truce proposal includes a 60-day ceasefire, release of Israeli hostages, and phased returns of Palestinian prisoners. Israel remains cautious, citing Barghouti's past involvement in deadly attacks.

Barghouti's last media appearance was during a 2017 hunger strike in an Israeli prison. Despite his conviction, his popularity remains high among Palestinians. (YNN/VFI News)

“Dear Lord, we continue to pray for the release of the hostages who are still in Gaza. We ask for the negotiations to be fruitful and that no terrorists with blood on their hands be released, including Marwan Barghouti.”

Israeli Nutrition Experts Urge Metabolic Eating Amid Obesity Crisis

Nearly 60% of Israeli adults are overweight or obese, according to new Knesset data. Nutritionists are urging a shift toward metabolic eating, prioritizing low-glycemic, protein-rich foods and reducing processed sugars.

Mor Duani, a clinical nutritionist, explains that metabolic nutrition focuses on blood sugar balance, reducing inflammation, and preventing chronic diseases. It promotes real, unprocessed foods and often parallels Mediterranean diets.

Experts caution against extreme trends like 16-hour fasting, advocating instead for 12-hour cycles and a return to whole foods. The emphasis is also on moderate fruit intake, especially in Israel's hot summers, and avoiding refined carbs.

Dr. Gil Barzilai recommends seasonal herbs and cooling energy foods like leafy greens. Dietitian Amit Ganor highlights protein distribution throughout the day and warns against plant-based milks like oat milk, which are high in sugar.

The overarching message: focus on quality, not calorie count, and develop a lasting relationship with food. (YNN/VFI News)

“Lord, we ask You to bring healing and restoration to those struggling with their health and emotional eating. May Your wisdom guide Israel’s caregivers and citizens to make choices that honor the bodies You have given them.”

Marco Rubio's UN Sanctions Spark Resignations of Anti-Israel Commission Back to document list

Secretary of State Marco Rubio's sanctions against UN special rapporteur Francesca Albanese have already prompted the resignation of three anti-Israel commission members. These officials were part of a UN body criticized for singling out Israel with accusations of genocide and apartheid.

Albanese has made multiple inflammatory statements against Israel, comparing Prime Minister Netanyahu to Hitler and calling Gaza a "concentration camp." She has also attacked U.S. companies like Microsoft and Amazon for supporting Israel.

Following the sanctions, Navi Pillay, Miloon Kothari, and Chris Sidoti all stepped down from the Commission of Inquiry against Israel. Analysts believe Rubio's move is pressuring the UN to curb its bias.

Although the commission remains intact, these resignations mark a rare consequence for overt anti-Israel rhetoric at the United Nations. Rubio's actions are seen as a strong message against antisemitism on the global stage. (NYP/VFI News)
